Tree falls along Mad River after storms

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The rain continued to fall in the Miami Valley.

A tree was blown down in the 6000 block of Mad River Road on a private drive. No one was injured in the incident.

The rain is expected to continue into the evening hours Tuesday and will hang around Wednesday as well with the possibility of storms moving in.

Jason Hyman sent this video to 2 NEWS of clouds he spotted in Beavercreek.

Temperatures will climb later in the week with highs in the lower 90s.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Tara Hastings says the heat index, or “feels like” temperatures will reach 100 degrees.

Power was knocked out to some customers around the Miami Valley with Logan County taking the brunt of it.
