The Miami Valley will see several rounds of rain through Monday.
Sunday Morning: A warm front will move into the Miami Valley. Rain will start around 8 a.m. and move northeast across the area. There may be some thunder mixed in this first round.
Sunday Afternoon: Temperatures will be on the rise after the warm front as warm moist air moves into the Miami Valley. Daytime heating will lead way to the potential for isolated severe thunderstorms. The best timing will be between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Storms will move northeast across the area.
Strong winds will be the greatest threat. Some storms may have some small hail. There will be periods of heavy rainfall. The tornado threat is low.
Sunday Night: Isolated storms will continue. The risk for severe weather goes down as the sun goes down.
Monday Morning: A cold front will move across the Miami Valley. Rain will be possible along the cold front. Rain is more likely south of I-70.
Monday Afternoon: We will dry out behind the front.
Overall rainfall totals through Monday look to be around 0.5″ with isolated areas seeing more.
