Snow Emergencies, advisories issued in several counties

***WIND CHILL ADVISORY 6 PM SUNDAY TO NOON MONDAY***

Snow has moved out, but wind gusts will continue today creating drifting snow, especially on East-West roads.  High temperatures today will on climb a little bit above 10.

SUNDAY:  Partly to mostly sunny, breezy and very cold with a chance of a morning flurry.  drifting snow.  High 12

SUNDAY NIGHT:  Cleari and bitterly cold.  Low -5

MONDAY, MLK DAY:  Mostly sunny and very cold.  High 12

Arctic air stays in place for the MLK holiday on Monday.  Temperatures climb above normal Tuesday afternoon with rain chances returning Tuesday night and Wednesday before more arctic chill arrives late next week.

The following counties are under a Level 1 Snow Emergency:

  • Champaign
  • Miami
  • Greene
  • Montgomery
  • Clark
  • Preble
  • Clinton

The following counties are under a Level 2 Snow Emergency:

  • Logan
