DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Six tornadoes touched down in the Miami Valley during a line of powerful storms moving through the state Saturday morning that caused destructive wind damage.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio confirmed an EF0 tornado occurred near Troy in Miami County during the early morning hours of April 1.

In addition, officials confirmed an EF1 tornado also touched down in Auglaize County between Wapakoneta and Uniopolis.

Officials also confirmed tornadoes in St. Mary’s (EF0), Minster (EF0), Pleasant Hill (EF0) and West Milton (EF0).

These conclusions stem from supporting radar data and damage reports in the area, according to a release.
