Separate tornado confirmed in Clark County

SOUTH CHARLESTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The National Weather Service Wednesday confirmed a separate tornado in Clark County touched down Tuesday.

Clark County Sheriff Deputies reported spotting a tornado Tuesday about a mile south of South Charleston.

The NWS said Wednesday the tornadic damage in the area is ” separate and independent from the tornadic damage further southwest in parts of Greene County.”

The NWS Survey Team is continuing to assess damage in and around the area and final results are expected Wednesday afternoon or evening.
