Rain and thunderstorms will make Thursday warm but wet

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday and you should keep your umbrella handy.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik says there is a marginal risk of severe weather with strong winds and hail being the main threat. Jamie says there is about a five percent chance of that happening.

The video shows the rainy conditions around 11:45 a.m. Thursday on State Route 725 at Fifth Third Bank. The wind picked up and the rain fell hard:

There will be some dry time Thursday with lots of clouds and a little Sunday at times.

If you didn’t get your yard work done before today, don’t worry. Saturday looks to be dry and you will have plenty of opportunity over the weekend to catch up.
