DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The saying goes, “If you don’t like the weather in Ohio, just wait five minutes.” The weather this week will prove that old saw to be true.

Snow began falling Sunday night and continued into Monday morning, leaving a blanket of white across the Miami Valley.

The high temperature on Monday is expected to be in the high 40’s but it was cold when most people woke up to start their day.

Tuesday will see a high of 70 and the possibility of thunderstorms, which is exactly what you’d expect for Spring weather.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik says some of those storms could be strong, especially late in the day.

Wednesday will see a return to cooler temperatures and another chance of flurries while the rest of the week will see highs in the 40s.

So don’t put that snow brush and ice scraper away just yet.
