Clark County Tornado Warning cancelled

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A tornado warning was issued for Clark County until 9 am but cancelled a short time later.

The warning was issued just after 8:30 am by the National Weather Service.

Several weather warnings were also issued Friday as thunderstorms moved through the Miami Valley.

The NWS issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Butler, Champaign, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Shelby and Warren Counties.

Darin Horman sent this video to 2 NEWS via Facebook. In the video you can see limbs blown down and a tree that fell across SR-123 in Franklin Township.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik the rain will be around until lunchtime Friday and the afternoon will see cooler temperatures and even some sunshine.

Saturday will be a nice day with mild temperatures in the 60s but rain returns Sunday.
