Accumulating snow Sunday

A Winter Weather Advisory is in place on Sunday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Snow is likely with most areas in the Miami Valley looking at 1″ of snow. Isolated accumulations of 3 inches of snow south of I-70 are likely. Most of the snow should start after 10 AM.  Areas furthest south may see it start a little sooner.  This is a quick moving system and snow will cease by Sunday evening.

TONIGHT:  Cloudy and cold.  Low 28

SUNDAY:  Cloudy, breezy and cold with periods of snow, accumulating up to an inch north of a Richmond-Troy-Urbana line, south 1 to 3 inches.  High 33

Arctic air blasts into the Miami Valley Sunday night with temperatures dropping into the teens.  This chilly air mass stays with us through mid week.
