Cloud cover and precipitation dominated the weather during February.

Precipitation was recorded at the James M. Cox Dayton International Airport 15 days this month. That’s roughly 60 percent of the month.

The ground remains very saturated and puddles are still seen across the Miami Valley.
Officially, Dayton received 6.11 inches of rain since Feb. 1, putting the city 4.20 inches above normal. On Monday, Feb. 25, the year 2019 ranked number three on the top wettest Februarys on record.

To end the month, we look relatively dry. As we look ahead to March, the Miami Valley should see another above-average month.
