BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – There was a battle for first place tonight in the SWBL Southwestern district as Brookville, winner of five straight, made the trip to Bellbrook to take on the undefeated Golden Eagles at Miami Valley South Stadium.

Bellbrook got on the board first with a 40 yard touchdown run by Senior Running Back Sedric Ferguson, 6 to nothing after missing the extra point.

It’s 4th and 10 and Brookville’s quarterback Mason Stout scrambled and lost a few defenders but happened to get the pass off to Ben Smith for 11 yards and the first down.

Next possession for Bellbrook and their senior running back Justin Sloan takes it 45 yards to the house for 6.

Brookville was on offense again as Jack Myers takes the hand off and goes 33 yards to the 8 yard line before he is tackled.

That sets up an 8 yard touchdown run by Ben Smith.
