COLDWATER, Ohio (WDTN) - Coldwater hosted Anna on a cold, wet night at Cavalier Stadium.
The Rockets march down the field on their opening drive and in less than two minutes Bart Bixler caps off the drive with the quarterback keeper for the touchdown, 7-0 Anna.
We move ahead to the second quarter where the Cavs defense changes the momentum with a deep pass across the middle. It’s tipped then intercepted by Ben Wenning with a great grab and a solid return. Cavs get it back on the turnover but they’re still down 7-0.
On the ensuing drive it's Cole Frilling on the jet sweep. He's bottled up but he keeps the play alive, cuts all the way back across the field for the nice gain before getting knocked out of bounds.
Same drive in the final minute of the half, when Jake Hemmelgarn throws the fade and Frilling is there to make the catch with a defender draped all over him.
The Rockets blasted ahead of the Cavaliers in the end, 21-20.
