DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Oakwood played host to Carlisle over at Mack Hummon Stadium Friday night.
The Lumberjacks get on board with an aerial assault in the first quarter.
On third down, Thomas Lunne hits Jack Armstrong for a 42-yard touchdown, Oakwood takes the 7-0 lead.
The home team threatens again in Indian territory, but it’s Ryan Neal making the interception for Carlisle.
Oakwood gets the ball back and Lunne strikes again, going back to Armstrong who shakes one tackler and stiff arms another for a 38-yard touchdown.
It’s 14-0 after the first quarter.
The Indians get on board with a short run, and Bryce Naylor crosses the plane to cut the lead in half but the Lumberjacks don’t let up.
Lunne floats one down the sideline for Jake Sargent and the senior hauls in the 25-yard touchdown.
Oakwood wins it big 35-14.
