COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Ohio State assistant coach Ryan Day is getting a big pay raise for his time as the football team’s Acting Head Coach.
Day will receive a one-time payment of $487,000 in his September 30 paycheck.
Day served in the expanded role from August 1, 2018, through September 16, 2018.
The payment is in addition to his $1 million per year salary, agreed to during with the signing of a new contract in February.
