Nick Mangold retires from NFL

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.  – Nick Mangold signed a one-day contract with the New York Jets on Tuesday so that he could officially retire from football as a member of the team. The seven-time Pro Bowl center played in New York from 2006 through 2016. The former Alter Knight and Ohio State Buckeye great was honored at a ceremony at the team’s training facility with family and former teammates present.  Nick Mangold started all 171 games that he appeared in for the Jets.
