DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Polls open bright and early Tuesday for the primary election.

It is entirely local this year. You can expect to see some issues on this ballot like tax levies and local positions.

In Dayton, there is a six-candidate field for the city commission.

The four candidates receiving the most votes Tuesday will go on to run in the November election, where two seats on the commission are up for grabs.
