What you should know about back-to-school vaccinations

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It’s time for students to get their vaccinations ahead of the first day of school.

Donna Youtz and San Suffoletto of Dayton and Montgomery County Public Health joined 2 NEWS to discuss the importance of these vaccinations.

All 50 states and Washington, D.C. require vaccinations in order for children to enroll in the public school system.

The most common vaccinations are for Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis, Polio, Measles and Rubella, and Chicken Pox.
