Washington Township Taco Bell robbed at gunpoint

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a Taco Bell in Washington Township was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

Deputies responded to an aggravated robbery call at the Taco Bell in the 5800 block of Far Hills Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say two suspects entered the store, pointed guns at employees and demanded cash. The suspects took an undetermined amount of money then left the store.

The Miami Township Police Department K9 unit assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a search for the suspects, but no one was found.

No employees were hurt during the robbery.

One suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, standing six feet tall and weighing between 160-180 pounds. He was wearing black jeans, a black hoodie and a red face mask. He was reportedly armed with a rifle.

The second suspect was also described as a black male in his early 20s, standing six feet tall and weighing between 160-180 pounds. He was also wearing black jeans and a black hoodie, with a black face mask. The second suspect was reportedly armed with a handgun.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
