Wagons donated to Dayton Children’s to replace stolen pair

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Months after Dayton Children’s Hospital’s two wagons are stolen, a local carrier is giving back to replace the stolen wheels.

Dayton police found one of the wagons the next day, but could never find the other one.

R&L Carriers, based in Wilmington, donated the wagons to replace the stolen ones, customized for the hospital.

“Everybody’s had a hand in getting these developed. Our drivers have had a hand in it. It’s just been something that’s drawn us closer together as an organization and gave us something to get behind. It’s been a morale booster and something we’re excited to get done for our community,” said Dane Gordon, with R&L Carriers.

As of Wednesday, Dayton police say they have no new information about who stole the wagons back in December.
