ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — Hours of security video show a man tearing apart a kitchen and pool area at an Anderson home. Investigators are looking for the man, who they say also stole guns and tools before leaving.

Investigators with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office on Monday released photos and video from the Sunday morning burglary of a home in the 2300 block of East County Road 360 North. Investigators say the man was at the home for three hours and destroyed “a substantial amount of the interior” and some of the exterior of the home from 6-9 a.m. He stole two shotguns, a toolbox and tools, Sheriff Scott Mellinger said.

Monday evening WISH-TV spoke with the homeowner, who wished to remain annoymous.

” I just can’t image who would do something so heinous of a crime like this,” said the victim over the phone. ” I just want to know why he did what he did, there is no rhyme or reason to the actions he has done.”

Anyone with information on the man’s identity is encouraged to call sheriff’s office investigators at 765-646-4025 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. People can also send direct messages to the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.
