News

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – 2 NEWS has obtained video of an armed robbery at a Kettering gas station. Police are still looking for five men who robbed the BP gas station at the intersection of Smithville Road and Wilmington Pike early Thursday morning.

Police say five men wearing masks threatened the clerk with handguns.

Police were unable to determine how much money was stolen, but the gas station manager told 2 NEWS he estimates more than $500.

The clerk was punched during the robbery but he was not injured.

Police used a K-9 unit to track the suspects, but couldn’t find anyone.

The BP manager says the station was robbed back in October.

Authorities plan to review surveillance video from the store. They’ll also check with surrounding businesses to see if they can get a better description of the suspects.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Kettering Police at (937) 296-2555.Grab the FREE WDTN News App for iPhone or Android.
