KETTERING (WDTN) – A World War 2 veteran celebrated his 95th birthday on Saturday by watching a parade of family, friends and neighbors. The honoree is an Army veteran who worked with the Dayton codebreakers that helped decipher the codes of German submarines. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic the family couldn’t celebrate with a traditional birthday party, so instead they paraded past his Kettering home.
