SIBERIA, Russia (WDTN) – Six passengers fell to the ground when the airstairs they were using to board a flight to Moscow at an airport in western Siberia collapsed.
CCTV video shows the moment the airstairs collapsed Tuesday.
According to the Russian investigative committee, four people were injured and hospitalized when the airstairs appeared to buckle under their weight.
A criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements has been launched.
Barnaul airport representatives have reportedly stated that the ramp passed a scheduled inspection in October 2018.
