WASHINGTON (WDTN) – President Trump is welcoming the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams to the White House Friday.

A celebration of the teams is being held.

Some athletes, however, chose to stay away.

Lindsay Vonn, Erin Hamlin and Adam Rippon are among those who chose not attend, USA Today reports.

Some have made it clear they skipped the festivities because they do not want to stand with Trump.
