Pastor targeted with racist vandalism

U.S. & World

(WVTM/NBC News) Police in Gadsden, Alabama are investigating a disturbing act of vandalism outside of a pastor’s home.

Reverend K. Solomon Williams and his family woke up Sunday to find the windows in his pickup truck smashed in, the tires slashed, and a hose strung into the passenger side of the vehicle filling it with water.

Even worse, racial slurs were painted on the side of the truck.

He says no matter who’s responsible, it’s just unfortunate.

“Hatred yet exists in different forms and this is one form of racial bias, racial hatred. And somewhere along the line, it has to stop. It has to stop,” Williams said.
