If you can’t get outside to go to a fireworks show, you can enjoy the display Wednesday night on TV. There are several options.
“Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” will air on NBC starting at 8 p.m.
In addition to fireworks, the celebration will include performances. Kelly Clarkson is set to debut her 100th anniversary edition of the classic “God Bless America.”
“A Capitol Fourth” will air on PBS starting at 8 p.m.
Performers rehearsed Tuesday in Washington. It will feature live performances and a fireworks display on the West Lawn of the Capitol.
Crowds are expected to arrive as early as 3 p.m. Wednesday.
This year, actor John Stamos returns to host the celebration joined by the Beach Boys, Pentatonix, the Temptations, and other award-winning artists.
The President has set up a separate celebration on the South Lawn of the White House featuring singer-songwriter Sara Evans, pianist Lola Astanova and two former “American Idol” finalists.
That 90 minute event will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel starting at 8 p.m.
