Facebook dealing with another privacy issue

U.S. & World

(WDTN) – Facebook is dealing with another privacy issue.

The company said a software bug has affected 800,000 users.

This time, the bug unblocked some users who were previously blocked. That means the person could potentially see posts from the user who blocked them and reach out to them via messenger.

Facebook says the bug was live for about a week at the end of May and early June and has since been fixed.

The company says it will begin notifying those affected Tuesday.
