GERMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A pair of train cars derailed in Clark County Sunday, shutting down a road.

The derailment happened on Upper Valley Pike south of Tremont City in German Township.

Authorities wouldn’t say how long that road would be closed to clean up the scene. The train cars were from the Ohio and Indiana Railroad Company.

According to authorities, the cars were carrying steel products.

No one was hurt in the derailment.
