DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – President Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law on Monday afternoon, which includes several key Ohio victories.
Jeff Hoagland, President and CEO of Dayton Development Coalition, talked with 2 NEWS about how that will impact the greater Dayton area.
“Working with Wright-Patt, it’s not just about Dayton, Ohio, Wright-Patt is about the Department of Defense,” he said.
As a result of the bill, more funding will be provided for military construction at Wright-Patt’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) than ever before.
It will also help to keep Defense Production Act (DPA) jobs at Wright-Patt.
