Temperatures will continue to drop today.


Snow showers and flurries ending this evening.  Still a few slick spots on area roads, but mainly on untreated parking lots, side streets and  sidewalks.  Spots where salt may have melted light snow during the day will refreeze as temperatures drop. Overnight more arctic air will infiltrate the region.  This will allow temperatures to drop into the single digits in most locations.  If skies clear out by early tomorrow morning areas north could drop to zero.  Just the slightest breeze will give wind chills a range of -5 to 5 above.  This will be a short blast of arctic air.  After Monday temperatures will moderate to seasonable levels.

Tonight:  Turning partly cloudy late.  Low 3  Areas to the north around zero.  Wind chills -5 to 5 above

Monday:  Chilly.  Mostly sunny.  High 21.  Low 10  Wind chills in the single digits and teens.

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny. Not as cold. High 35  Low 20

Wednesday:  Partly cloudy.  High near 40  low 32

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy.  Slight chance of a rain or snow shower.  High 37  Low 26

Friday:  Partly cloudy and breezy.  High 39  Low 30

Christmas Eve day:  Partly sunny.  High 42  Low 32

Christmas day (Sunday):  Partly to mostly cloudy.  High 46  Low 40
