DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are reviewing surveillance video after a suspect broke into a US Bank.

Police were called to the US Bank located at 10 North Ludlow Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

A security guard reported an alarm sounding and saw broken glass and a man running from the business.

Police said the glass door was shattered and found a lunch bag and two leather portfolios with US Bank paperwork on the ground.

Officers observed the security camera looked like it was tampered with and the entire bank had been ransacked. A small safe behind the counter had been pried open and several rolls of quarters were taken. Officials estimate about $200 was stolen.
