APOPKA, Fla. (NBC) – A sinkhole opened up this morning and swallowed part of a home in central Florida.

The large hole was first reported around 8:15 local time in the city of Apopka.

Video from a news helicopter and a news crew on the ground shows the moment a portion of the home fell into the sinkhole.

You also see people scrambling to salvage belongings from the home.

No one was injured in the incident.

Gary Miller, the homeowner spoke with a reporter at his home and said, “Yeah, it just kept going all night. At 2:30 this morning it really got started. Tearing down really bad.”

When asked what he was going to do next Miller said, “Looks like we’re gonna tear it down. Have to wait and see what the insurance company says.”
