HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – An accident on Route 4 in Huber Heights caused significant traffic delays Wednesday morning.
A semi truck and a pickup truck collided on Route 4 and Adams Road.
The southbound side of Route 4 was shut down down for a time while crews worked to free the driver from the pickup. He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
Police on the scene tell 2 NEWS the pickup was traveling south on Route 4 and hit a semi that was turning onto Upper Valley Pike.
Crews are cleaning up the scene and all lanes of the road are back open. The backup on the southbound side of Route 4 stretched back to I-70.
The scene was cleared about 1.5 hours after the accident occurred. All traffic appears to be flowing smoothly once again.
Police don’t believe weather was a factor in the crash.
