(WROC) – Pop star Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday after suffering an apparent overdose, TMZ reports.

According to the TMZ report, Lovato was transported from her home in Hollywood Hills just before noon.

Last month, Lovato released a song titled “Sober” on YouTube, which included the lyrics: “Momma, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore/And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor.”

The song was released just months after Lovato celebrated her sixth year of sobriety.

A source told ET that Lovato was “stable.”

According to Cosmopolitan, a spokesperson said Tuesday evening:

“Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy.”

TMZ later reported the singer did not overdose on heroin, as had been previously reported.
