Rain may impact firework displays tonight.


Showers are spreading into the area this morning.  Areas north and east may not see rain until later today.  Tonight as a warm front lifts through the area, showers may become heavy at times.  An isolated storm is also possible. **A flash flood watch is in effect for tonight for Warren & Butler counties.** Showers will continue into Monday morning.  Then we should see scattered storms developing in the afternoon with the possibility of more heavy rain.  A few storms may reach severe potential.  Rainfall amounts may exceed 1″- 2″ with this event.

Today:  Mainly cloudy with showers developing. Especially south & west.  Cool.  High 70  Warmer north and east.

Sunday Night:  Showers and isolated storms likely.  Low 64  **A flash flood watch has been issued for tonight for Warren & Butler counties.**

Fourth of July:   AM showers.  Scattered showers thunderstorms in the afternoon. Heavy rain and a few strong storms possible. Humid. High 77

Monday night.  Showers and storms ending.  Muggy. Low 69.

Tuesday: Warm & humid. High 87; Heat indices in the 90s.

Wednesday through Saturday:  Turning hot and humid.  Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s and lows in the low 70s.  Scattered storms Wednesday through Friday.  Heat indices are expected to be in the mid and upper 90s .
