President of Miami University to retire

OXFORD, Ohio (WDTN) – Miami University announced the retirement of President David Hodge Friday.

It will take effect in June 2016.

According to the university’s web site, Dr. Hodge took over the presidency in July 2006. He was reappointed for another five years in 2011.

Dr. Hodge oversees a budget of more $850-million.

He came to Miami University after 31 years at the University of Washington.
