DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police have identified the body found in the Great Miami River earlier this week.
They have identified the victim as 25-year-old Dustin Potter from Apple Street in Dayton.
Dispatchers received a call around 8:30 Sunday night that a body had been found near the intersection of Edwin C. Moses Blvd. and Washington Street.
Police say two fishermen were walking by the river bank when they came across the body and immediately called 911.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office is working to determine whether or not foul play was involved in the man’s death.
