DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police searched the apartment of Daniel Schooler Wednesday afternoon at the Park Manor Apartments.

There, police tell 2 NEWS that they were searching for more evidence linking him to his alleged crime; killing his Rev. brother, William Schooler, on Sunday.
Police say the crime happened at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church in the 3300 block of Nancy Avenue around 12:30 p.m.READ MORE: Pastor, brother brought money matters to court
He faces a single charge of aggravated murder, two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, according to court documents.
Sunday’s church service was preparing to wrap up for the day when Daniel allegedly followed William Schooler into a back office of the church and shot him four times.
According to his court affidavit, “The final shot was witnessed by the victim’s wife. (Daniel Schooler) then laid the gun down and waited for police who took him into custody.”READ MORE: Accused Rev. shooter pleads not guilty to charges
Daniel Schooler is expected back in court at 3 p.m. March 9 for a preliminary hearing.
He is being held on a $1 million dollars bond.
