Westerville police escort daughter of fallen officer to school

WESTERVILLE, OH (WCMH) – It was a touching tribute by the men and women in blue.

Westerville police officers escorted the daughter of fallen Westerville police officer Eric Joering to her first day of school.

Westerville police tweeted a photo of officers and Joering’s daughter in her classroom.

It has been nearly six months since Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering were shot and killed while responding to a 911 call in Westerville.
