DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a plane crashed with four people on board near Cincinnati.

FAA V/r Donnell says a single-engine Piper PA-32 aircraft crashed around 9:45 p.m. on Friday. The crash is believed to have taken place just southeast of Cincinnati Municipal Airport – Lunken Field around the 100 block of Eight Mile Road near Old Kellogg Road and Woodland Mound in Anderson Township.

All four individuals on board have been transported to the hospital with minor injuries, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to our NBC affiliate WLWT.

The Cincinnati Fire Department and Anderson emergency personnel responded to the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the FAA.
