Gov. DeWine to deliver first State of the State Address

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will deliver his first State of the State Address Tuesday afternoon.

This will be DeWine’s first State of the State Address since winning the election last November.

He’s expected to push for an increase in Ohio’s gas tax.

The Governor is also expected to promote efforts to fight the opioid epidemic.

Dewine will also highlight programs for which he’s advocated to improve the lives of children.

The State of the State Address will begin Tuesday at noon at the Ohio Statehouse.
