DeWine in attendance for Warren County Trump rally

LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – Crowds at the Warren County Fairgrounds are growing more and more excited now that President Trump has landed in Ohio.

He will attend a private event in Cincinnati before heading to the fairgrounds for his speech.

The White House is describing the focus of Friday’s speech as an economic one, touching on recent gains in the economy as well as low unemployment rates.

A recent Suffolk University poll shows that Republican Jim Renacci, who Trump is promoting at Friday’s rally, is down 18 points from his opponent, Sherrod Brown.

Additionally, Republican Mike DeWine is in a tight race for Ohio Governor with Democrat Richard Cordray.

When asked how this rally could impact potential Independent voters, DeWine said, “I’m appealing to all Ohioans. One thing I’ve been able to do throughout my career is pull people together. I’ve done that as the Attorney General, so I want to do that as Governor, pull people together.”
