DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A wanted man from Dayton is back in custody after a four month manhunt.

The U.S. Marshals SOFAST Task Force hunted down Lance Ealy in Atlanta and arrested him Wednesday morning.

They had help from the Atlanta based SOFAST Task Force while making the arrest.

Ealy is now in jail awaiting extradition to Ohio.

Multiple agencies helped in the months long search for Ealy. He was tracked through at least eight states up until his arrest in Georgia.

Marshals are still on the lookout for Ealy’s father, Larry.

Lance, 28, was under indictment for 46 counts of fraud, including buying and selling stolen identities, access card devices and filing false income tax returns.

He was on electronic monitoring during his trial in November 2014, but he cut it off and ran just days before a jury handed down a verdict.

Larry Ealy is wanted on drug charges.  He made an unsuccessful run for Ohio governor in 2014.
