FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Wright State University hosted a service event Tuesday for Project Linus, a charity that makes fleece blankets for kids in need in Montgomery and Greene counties.

Wright State has donated more than six thousand blankets to the Dayton-area chapter of the nonprofit.

“We have different groups all around campus. Groups cut blankets for us, then we come here at this event and spend seven hours tying them for the kids,” says Clark Harrison of Project Linus.

Since 1995, Project Linus has donated more than six million blankets across America.
