WSU faculty contract ratified months after strike

Local News

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Wednesday, the AAUP-WSU and Wright State University officials ratified their new contract, finalizing the workers agreement between the school and the union.

This comes nearly three months after Wright State and the faculty union struck a deal to end the longest higher-education faculty strike in history.

In January, faculty went on strike for nearly four weeks after negotiations between the university and the faculty union broke down.

The terms of the new deal are in effect until the summer of 2023.
