WSU College of Nursing collecting toys for Ronald McDonald House patients

Local News

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Students, faculty, and staff from Wright State University’s School of Nursing have partnered with Ronald McDonald House to put on a toy drive.

The drive is thrown every year in support of the families and sick patients.

Donations can be brought to the College of Nursing, located at University Hall, and they are encouraging all members of the community to donate.

The toys help relieve the stress of gift-buying for families enduring a difficult time.

“There is nothing like watching children open gifts on Christmas morning and knowing that the parents have a little bit of relief. They can’t control the fact that their kid is sick, but for us to be able to give them something to do for their children during that difficult time, it really is amazing,” says Jennifer Crim of Wright State University.

The drive kicked off in October and will run until the end of November.
