LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a youth baseball organization is due in court Wednesday.

46-year-old Renee Nichols is due to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Warren County Common Pleas Court.

The Warren County Prosecutor says Nichols stole at least $180,000 from the Springboro Clearcreek Baseball Association during her time as treasurer from 2013-17.

According to the prosecutor, Nichols used the money to pay her credit card bills and take a Disney vacation.

Nichols is facing charges of aggravated theft and tampering with records.

If convicted, prosecutors say Nichols could face up to three years in prison for each charge.
