WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – New renovations for the West Carrollton library have been unveiled.
The library, first constructed in 1979, is reopening after undergoing a year-long remodel and expansion.
The branch, which is part of the Dayton Metro Library, now features new audio and visual equipment, larger meeting areas, and an upgraded children’s area.
Officials hope the larger space will make the browsing process a lot earlier for visitors.
“One of the things you’ll notice when you first walk into the building is the larger space, being able to spread out,” says Tim Kambitsch, Executive Director of the Dayton Metro Library. “We have collections appealing to all different age groups and all different interests and people can browse those shelves a lot easier than they would’ve been able to before.”
Regular hours for the library resume Tuesday.
