Weather blamed from slide off crash in Miami County

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) -- Authorities say weather is likely a factor in a crash in Miami County.

Deputies went to Washington Road, near Washington Concord Road, just west of Troy in Concord Township just before midnight.

When deputies arrived, they found a car into a pole.

Deputies put CareFlight on standby, but learned it could not fly due to weather conditions. Authorities say CareFlight proved not to be necessary.

Medics took two people to Upper Valley Medical Center. The passenger is in fair condition. The condition of the driver has not been released.

Authorities say slushy roads may have caused the crash.

DP&L was called to the scene to repair damage to a pole.

The crash remains under investigation.
