WATCH: Armed robber enters Dollar General, points gun at employee

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police have released surveillance video showing the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar General store last Friday.

Around 7 p.m. on January 18, a male entered the Dollar General located at 888 S. Gettysburg Ave., pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.

He then fled on foot and may have gotten into a black Kia Soul on Oakleaf Drive.

While the man was wearing a mask that covered most of his face, witnesses described him as a younger, light-skinned black male, roughly 6 feet tall, with a thin build.

He was wearing jeans, a dark coat with a white or light-colored hooded sweatshirt underneath, and black tennis shoes.
